Sales Executive / Business Development

Solardome is looking for a proactive relationship-focused Sales Executive to drive sales of our dome buildings worldwide.

The Sales Executive will be responsible for the entire sales process within the domestic, education and commercial sectors.

Due to the architectural nature of our dome buildings, a key aspect of this sales role is to offer creative or technical solutions and nurture customer relationships, often over a long lead-time. It also requires being able to negotiate contracts therefore, the role would suit someone with an architectural sales or commercial sales background.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategically develop new business opportunities and sales in the education/commercial sector to meet targets identified in the company Business Plan.
  • Be responsible for the entire sales process. To include research, lead generation- cold calling and follow-up, customer presentations and site visits, quote generation, contract negotiation and closing the sale.
  • Nurture and develop customer relationships.
  • Use creative writing skills to write compelling customer correspondence.
  • Generate referrals from existing customers to grow new opportunities and sales.
  • Input all activity into the company CRM system (SugarCRM).
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual activity/sales targets.

This full time role offers 22 days holiday plus bank holidays and a contributory pension and bonus scheme following the first year. It is predominantly office based, with regular site visits following a training period. We are looking for someone who is proactive, wants a unique sales challenge and is keen to grow and progress within the company.
