Sales Executive

Salary: £25,000-£28,000, plus commission
Hours of work: Mon to Thu 8:30-5pm and Fri 8:30-2pm

This year, we celebrate our 25th anniversary as the pioneer and leading geodesic dome designer and manufacturer in Europe. With our long-standing reputation for high quality and customer focused experiences we are an organisation with a varied and global client base across the high end domestic, education and commercial markets. Our range includes standard dome glasshouses up to 10m in diameter, and a larger architectural ‘PRO’ dome system capable of delivering bespoke dome buildings up to 25m.

Key responsibilities

  • Follow up warm sales leads across all sectors effectively and be responsible for the entire ‘end to end’ sales process
  • Develop proactive sales in the commercial sector to meet agreed company targets
  • Improve lead to quotation conversion rates
  • Organise and hold sales meetings both on and off site
  • Able to explain a range of dome options and accessories clearly and concisely
  • Focus on creating positive experiences in every customer interaction
  • Develop a high degree of customer excitement, trust and satisfaction in the brand
  • Develop and maintain prospect relationships throughout the sales cycle
  • Use creative oral and writing skills for compelling customer correspondence
  • Generate referrals from existing customers to grow new opportunities and sales
  • Input all activity into the company CRM system and keep up to date with tasks
  • Achieve quarterly and annual activity/sales targets
  • Work with other departments to continuously improve our customer offering
  • It is predominantly office based, with regular customer meetings both here and at potential customer sites


  • Enthusiastic and passionate individual that is keen to help grow an ethical SME
  • Degree educated or of graduate calibre
  • At least 3 years’ experience within a sales role
  • Self-starter with evidence of generating own sales pipeline and meeting sales targets
  • Experience of relationship building and selling high-end products or technical products with a long lead time
  • Confident and persistent at generating targeted leads through social media and face-to-face networking
  • Solid computer skills and experience of using CRM systems daily
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Strong telephone manner
  • Clean UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle
  • Must have the right to work in the UK
