Research Units

Solardomes are versatile research units and are used in many Universities across Britain. There are several domes at the Universities of Bangor and Lancaster, where they are used as isolation chambers for comparative environmental studies.

The Centre for Alternative Technology in mid Wales uses their Solardome as a thought provoking structure, demonstrating the most efficient use of structural materials. Solardomes also make ideal support structures for Astro-physical observations.
